Will I find all doctors in Medevio?
Hundreds of doctors from across the Czech Republic are already using the app. If your doctor is one of them, you can communicate through the app. If your doctor is not yet using Medevio, you can save their contact details in the app and share your medical history or other necessary documents with them via a web link.
How is my data protected?
All communication between the doctor and patient is encrypted using the same methods employed by modern banking institutions. The Medevio platform runs on AWS infrastructure, which meets the highest security standard. At Medevio, we ensure compliance with all data protection requirements (GDPR), and one of our main goals is to keep patient health data secure.
Can Medevio be used by a patient who isn’t very experienced with using a mobile phone?
Thousands of requests from patients aged 0 to 97 have already been submitted through Medevio. Of course, the requests for the youngest were submitted by their parents, and the oldest might have had assistance from their loved ones, but we can confidently say that almost anyone can use Medevio.
What can I address with my doctor through the app?
All non-urgent requests that you would otherwise handle by phone, email, or messenger. For example, requests for various types of certificates, issuing or terminating sick leave, scheduling an appointment, or requests related to COVID-19.
Is the use of the app free?
The Medevio app is free for patients. Your doctor may choose to charge for certain services offered through Medevio.
