    You will always have your work schedule well organised thanks to a clear calendar, where you can see all your scheduled patients. It's up to you whether to use the calendar only internally or allow patients to book appointments online. In that case, you can easily set available slots according to the type of examination and your office hours.

    Appointment Reminders for Patients

    Patients who have appointments will receive a reminder the day before through the app or via SMS. This ensures they don’t forget their visit. If a patient needs to cancel an appointment, the app requires them to provide a reason, which has been shown to reduce unnecessary cancellations.

    Why is Medevio better than email?

    Medevio is a secure form of communication that complies with GDPR and verifies patient identity. Patient requests won’t get mixed up with other emails. You'll also appreciate that everything is clearly categorized and automatically sorted by priority. Another advantage is that patients don’t write lengthy messages; they only fill in the necessary information.

    What is Medevio useful for if I don’t need/want to use the appointment system?

    Medevio saves you a lot of non-urgent phone calls and visits. Patients quickly learn to request prescriptions, lab results, sick leave terminations, or various certificates through the app. It’s faster and more convenient than trying to call the clinic. Medevio also helps you with administration—patients can fill out their medical history in the app, share medical reports with you, or send results from specialists. You can easily transfer everything into the records in your AIS without needing to retype or copy paper documents.

    What about elderly patients who aren’t familiar with technology?

    Based on our experience, age is not a barrier to using Medevio. The app is actively used by a patient who is a remarkable 97 years old! For those who are still concerned about older patients, we can connect Medevio to a phone system. Patients can then record their requests on voicemail, and Medevio will automatically transcribe the messages into the list of requests. Alternatively, a family member can submit a request on behalf of the elderly patient.

    What if there are multiple doctors in the clinic?

    You can have multiple doctors or nurses in the system. Just let us know, and we'll add the new user to your account.

    What tools is Medevio integrated with?

    Medevio is integrated with outpatient systems such as Smartmedix, Medicus, Medistar, AIS CTMOS, PC Doktor, and Dr. Rex.

    Does Medevio need to be installed?

    No, it doesn’t need to be installed. Everything works online, and no installation on your computer is required. You can log into your Medevio profile through a web browser, just like you would with email.
